Role Description: This role is for an ETL and Database Quality Analyst. Candidate is responsible for evaluating user stories, develop manual test plans, write and design automation scripts to ensure quality control standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities: This role is for an ETL and Database Quality Analyst with a minimum of 7- 9 years of experience. Works with scrum teams to build out an end to end testing environment and data solution to connect the different application areas Understands and provides insight on the test infrastructure. Display critical, quality- oriented, skeptical thinking about the product Actively acquire information from stakeholders (rather than relying entirely on written specifications) Work effectively to define testable user stories and acceptance criteria with key business and technology stakeholders Collaborate within the team, working in pairs with programmers and other team members to develop subject matter expertise in product Respond to change quickly, including changing, adding, or improving test cases Plan and organize their own work in accordance with sprint deliverables Passion for quality and technical challenges drives for automation which supports CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) Excellent knowledge of black/white- box test concepts including test automation. Production support as needed. Review peer scripts before they are checked into the test automation library. Ability to work both independently as well as within a team. End to end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation. Evaluate existing automation framework and provide automation solution for building end to end regression suite
Primary Skills (Must Have): Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development. Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014. Experience with testing in one or more of the following areas: business intelligence, data migration, ETL and data ingestion systems Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data analysis. Solid understanding of ETL source to target data mappings and transformation rules. Experience in writing queries and coding complex stored procedures (using T- SQL). Expertise in writing complex test automation scripts and error handling will be mainly required Experience of testing applications involving technologies like ASP.Net, web services, JSON Capability of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms for leaders in both small and large group settings Strong knowledge of relational database design concepts. Experience in writing technical documentation. Excellent English communications skills (written and verbal)
Secondary Skills (Good to Have): Knowledge of data modeling and designs. Knowledge of business intelligence tools. Knowledge of ASP.Net, C#, Selenium Knowledge Autosys scripting
Qualification: Bachelor s/Master s Degree level qualification in a computer science.
