Job Description

S&P Global Market Intelligence: The Role: Assistant Manager for Portfolio Analytics Application Support S&P Global The Location: Hyderabad Grade: 9A The Team: Client Operations team is the primary touchpoint for our clients, both external and internal, and is the face of organization for our clients. The team does client advocacy while showcasing strong knowledge and understanding of our product and analytics. PA Application Support team, part of Client Operations, offers support on Portfolio Analytics product on CIQ Platform with an objective to provide relevant solutions to IM clients. The team helps clients in building customized reports/ templates on Portfolio Analytics tool on Platform. Team also liaisons with PA Product management in building/ enhancing the product, identifying/ troubleshooting issues on both user interface and back-end, perform UAT related tasks on the product etc. The Impact: Lead a team of 5 to 6 highly motivated and professional individuals by creating a positive work environment and drive team members efforts to achieve business and individual objectives. Enable the team to provide best-in class services to clients in customizing PA reports/ Templates within the stipulated timelines, collaborate globally with Product teams, Dev teams, CS/ CD teams with an urge to improve user experience on PA tool, communicate with passion and enthusiasm, embrace change as a way of working and lead by example. Responsibilities: Leads by example, creates a positive work environment, and promotes and drives team members efforts to reach group and individual goals. Serves as a primary resource for product managers by leveraging subject matter expertise to assist with product enhancement ideas. Proactively identifies and shares enhancement ideas and researches data and implementation efforts. Collaborate globally with Product teams, Dev teams and Commercial teams with an eye towards client experience and should be flexible to offer help. Understands advanced SQL usage and relationship between DBMS and product. Can write, modify and edit an existing list of commonly used SQL queries to accomplish recurring requests. Mastery of all applicable internal applications and ability to guide others in the group in regards to the usage of these internal applications. To be highly competitive in learning and applying new concepts/ technologies, Identify and execute new projects on automation, drive innovation, agility, look out for improvisations and commit to skills training across the team. Responsible for the management, organization and co-ordination of day to day work of the team and create reports to update on teams progress Lead the training efforts and develop associates as they are hired. Able to successfully create and independently manage projects. Proactively looks for opportunities to lead projects. Proven ability to juggle multiple responsibilities/ projects at once. Knows how to balance shifting priorities and delegate where necessary. What We re Looking For: Possess strong knowledge of financial data delivery products like S&P Capital IQ and other competitive product offerings. Possess strong technical skills, analytical skills and decision making skills. Solve a variety of problems within their operational setting. Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents. Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish. Works with multiple businesses to understand processes and procedures and helps to improve them whenever possible. Maintain high ethical standards, both personally and professionally. Excellent oral and written communication skills Requires working in rotation/ night shifts on a need basis. Preferred Qualifications : PG degree in Commerce/ Business Administration/ Management Proficiency in SQL & Excel Automation/ RPA acumen is a plus.,
