Job Description

The Sr. Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering Lead will work closely with the sector delivery leads, infrastructure engineers and SMEs, and IT engineers and architects. The recipient should demonstrate experience across key infrastructure domains including Network, Compute and Database, Cloud, IT Service Management, Collaboration and Security Accountabilities:

  • Build an architecture community for the Network domain to define enterprise technology standards, facilitate leverage and re-use, and ensure successful delivery of global Network Services across the enterprise.

  • This Network Architect will drive standardization and simplification across the existing environments and develop roadmaps to reduce overall total cost of ownership (TCO) for the Network domain

  • Development, refinement, publishing, and socialization of patterns, policies and guidelines, and technology standards

  • Ensuring the successful deployment of network solutions

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to the Infrastructure Architecture teams on standards and designs.

  • Produce architecture and engineering specifications and design documents

  • Lead the architecture direction and design issues as well as influence peers, cross-functional partners, and IT leadership

  • Effectively presenting facts and recommendations in oral and written form

    QualificationsRequirements

    • In depth experience and knowledge Networking technologies is required. Demonstrated experience serving as a architect in a large firm with emphasis on Extranet, DNS, Wi-Fi,
    • Comprehensive understanding of local and wide area networks and topologies, voice and video communications platforms, end-user device technologies, as well as collaborationsharing platforms
    • M ust have experience guiding multiple projects, leading vendor selections and negotiations, and a strong understanding of the vendors and technologies.
    • Proven ability in managing large scale infrastructure refreshes, consolidating and modernizing technology footprints, cloud integration and migration, and network trafficcapacity optimization.
    • Experience working in a global environment with stakeholders across multiple geographies.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of translating strategies into plans that can be effectively executed.
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 10+ years in the Information Technology field, with years as a Network Architect.
