Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Associate Specialist - SI at Invesco, your main responsibility will be to research and analyze ESG-related controversies associated with companies held across Invescos SFDR fund range. You will also be involved in researching other SI topics like Good Governance & SFDR PAIs. Your role includes analyzing, screening, and monitoring portfolio and security level ESG risks and factors, vendor analysis, and strategizing ESG data integration and analytics initiatives. By delivering superior investment experience, you will be supporting internal and external stakeholders such as Fund Managers, Product Managers, Sales and Marketing teams, and clients.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research on predefined ESG-related controversies associated with securities in Invescos Article 6, 8, and 9 fund range- Analyze relevant controversies and provide qualitative output to analysts and investment teams- Research Good Governance and PAIs to make recommendations for process improvement and automation- Analyze portfolio-level ESG factors to assist internal stakeholders and consult on ESG risks- Assist in building ESG analytics on various platforms and create supporting materials for Investment teams- Collaborate with product and ESG client strategy teams to develop ESG product strategies- Evaluate external ESG data vendors and provide strategic recommendations for ESG projects- Manage various ESG projects and initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teamsQualifications Required:- Masters degree in finance or related field- 4-6 years of experience in Capital Markets, preferably in Asset Management Industry- Experience in ESG domain and knowledge of ESG data providers like MSCI, Sustainalytics, etc.- Strong independent research skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities- Any level of CFA certification would be an added advantage- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, and data visualization software- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Understanding of data quality, data governance, and data security principlesAdditional Details:In Invesco, the workplace model supports a culture of flexibility while ensuring the needs of clients and employees are met.
