Perform testing of business applications to ensure the application functions as per business needs without any errors.
At ISB, Information Technology (IT) plays a key role in providing the development and support of enterprise software applications for different educational departments. These applications support the educational departments to meet the core ISB business objectives and drive digital transformation initiatives in its teaching, research development and business functions. These enterprise business applications were developed on different software platforms such as Adobe, .NET/C#, Java/J2EE and deployed on premise/cloud. Some of these applications were developed and supported by external vendors and some of these were developed and supported internally. At present manual testing methodology is followed and going forward the testing process will be automated. The primary responsibility of the incumbent would be Understand the business and functional requirements Develop test plans and test cases covering all functional scenarios of the applications Execute test cases and report the test results with error functionality Perform regressing testing, ad hoc testing defects testing to ensure quality of applications during release cycle Must have test to break attitude and willing to work closely with development teams, vendor teams and internal stake holders Experienced/learned on any automation tools preferably Selenium and Certification will be added advantage
Key Responsibilities Understand the scope and requirements to develop test suite covering all functional and critical scenarios. Execute and report test results. Perform ad hoc testing and regressing testing to ensure quality delivery in UAT/Production environments. Learn automation tools and setup automation framework (not immediate)

Highly demanding and required commitment when multiple applications were planned for rollout. Need flexibility to support testing based on roll out commitment and if there are any delay in delivery from development teams.This position is based out of Hyderabad. The incumbent would be expected to travel to Mohali campus as and when required and on need basis and at short notice also.
