Position Title: Herbal Expert (Asst. Manager (or) Dy.Manager level)Reports To : Head R&DLocation : HyderabadFunction : R&DOverview: Providing inputs on herbal powders/extracts to be incorporated in various food product categories based on thorough research. Provide commercially viable traditional food formulation ideas. Ability to generate science backed benefits related to traditional foods and herbs added to existing and new food products. Provide technical write-ups and support to existing and new product categories for offline and online promotion. Knowledge about phytochemistry involved in development of herbal powders/extracts.Core Responsibilities:Development of multiple herb formulations to be added to food products. Contemperozie traditional food concepts into modern food products Benchmarking of food products, ayurveda formulations and suggesting unique USPs for product differentiation Proactively align with marketing and sales team to educate them about the product features and USPs Provide technical support to marketing and sales team to generate online and offline marketing contents Provide onpack product claims in compliance with FSSAI regulations. Publish popular consumer articles, new paper contents and blogs related to traditional foods. Exhaustive literature survey to understand the benefits of various traditional formulations and herbs.
