Automation Solution Architect

Job Description

Involve and influence project quality in every phase of SDLC: Write right requirements; Increase Unit Testing implementation; Design Right Test Data Strategy; Automate CI/ CD process (inclusive of test automation); Provide performance and security testing. Be actively involved in QA activities on projects which include creating a testing vision, test strategy, iteration and release planning, distributed QA team coordination, defect triaging, test case writing, manual and test automation, performance testing; Train and mentor the team members on technical issues; Analyze and improve the existing frameworks and recommend right tools and frameworks; Manage the delivery of architectural POCs; Engage with the customer to build professional relationships; participate in phone conferences; be interviewed by the customers; be involved in customer workshops and presentations; visit customers without supervision; Lead the solution development and drive the requirements discussions. Requirements 12- 18 years experience in Test Automation; Experience working in at least 1 or more enterprise level application(s) defining test strategies for enterprise level application or portfolio of applications; Hands- on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks based on the application technology stack and functionality; Hands- on experience working in large scale or complex project where he/ she is overseeing the quality of software product at different stages on execution and establishing right quality gates before the software release; Hands- on experience in coding in any language so that he/ she can do automation framework development or automation script development by self when needed; Cross- domain and functional experience is nice to have; Ability to have a conversation with clients (key stakeholders or key technologists). Drive the discussion and arrive at conclusion; Well- versed with continuous integration process and continuous delivery; Good spoken and written communication skills; Be aware of non- functional requirement and ability to translate them into business context and include in strategy.
