Job Description

Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (Level 1 / Mid-Level)No of position(s): 2Total Years of Experience in Software Industry: 4 6 years Minimum Experience in Automation: 3 yearsWork Location: Hyderabad ODC Financial District.Work hours: 1 10 pm ISTWhen do we need the person to join 2 weeks 4 weeksKey Responsibilities

  • 1. He/She will be responsible for designing, developing automation test scripts,
  • 2. Run the smoke and regression test suites and provide test results and status reports.
  • 3. To configure and deploy automation test suites in CICD according to the technical specifications meeting the testing requirements.
  • 4. To setup the test data in Test/UAT environments for every regression test run
  • 5. To provide on-going operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and any requirement change activities.
  • 6. To have advanced skills in analysing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation code in a variety of contexts
  • 7. To work in line with design and coding standards, policies, and procedures
  • 8. To reports status, issues and risks to business leads, supervisor, and senior leadership on a regular basis
    • Must-Have Capabilities:
  • 1. Experience in Seleniumautomation using Java
  • 2. Experience in automating Angular9 applications using any tool
  • 3. Participate in all technical reviews including functional, test design, documentation, and code reviews
  • 4. Design, create and maintain automated test suites
  • 5. Experience with SQL for creating test data
  • 6. Experience with testing and automating REST web services and APIs
  • 7. Demonstrated experience in automated GUI testing using Selenium
  • 8. Experience with continuous integration and versioning tools Jenkins and Github
  • 9. Actively participate in functional, system and regression testing activities
  • 10. Exceptional ability to design test approaches for all layers of the software (database, API, UI)
  • 11. Familiarity with the technologies our software uses (SQL, HTML/CSS JavaSript/TypeScript, Angular 9, JSON)
  • Good-to-have / Advantage Capabilities:
  • 1. Exposure on NGWebdriver/WebdriverIO framework
  • 2. Exposure to Protractor tool is a plus
  • 3. JavaScript/Angular knowledge is a plus
  • 4. Knowledge on PostgreSQL is a plus
  • 5. Configure and manage our continuous integration pipeline and oversee build and test runs.
  • 6. Demonstrated experience developing performance/load tests with JMeter
  • 7. Understands how to work with source code control tools (branching, versioning)
