Job Description

This role is the primary Disaster Recovery Testing leader. Coordinate with application owners and infrastructure leads in preparation for large scale Disaster Recovery tests. Ensure all defined SYF processes are followed including Change Control to ensure zero impact to production during execution of Disaster Recovery testing. Develop and publish Disaster Recovery documentation including comprehensive testing plans and post- test Disaster Recovery Execution Reports. Identify and lead improvements to Disaster Recovery testing methodologies and the overall DR Program. Drive compliance with all DR standards and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead DR testing activities and assist the DR Program Office with planning, executing, and reporting on DR tests and exercises Work with Application and Infrastructure Support Teams to ensure Disaster Recovery Plans and associated artifacts are developed and maintained, and consistent with SYF policy and standards Perform reviews of Disaster Recovery documentation to drive quality, accuracy, and completeness. Report on quality defects and work with support teams to remediate. Partner with cross functional teams (Business Continuity, Incident Management, Information Security, Crisis Management) to develop and enhance integrated response capabilities for various business disruption scenarios Interface with internal support partners (Supplier Risk, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, etc.) to document, manage and escalate issue and gap remediation efforts Provide consultation to technology support teams on Disaster Recovery Planning best practices Implement and lead operating rhythms with technology teams to provide training and awareness on Disaster Recovery roles and responsibilities Identify risks related to Disaster Recovery and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation action plans to address them Support the Disaster Recovery Program Office in providing oversight to ensure implementation of Disaster Recovery solutions comply with Program Standards Partner with the Business Continuity Program office to perform supplier assessments (as needed) to assess risks related to Supplier Continuity Prepare management reports and presentations Provide 24/7 response and recovery support in actual or potential situations impacting the business Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements:

Graduate degree in any discipline Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience within Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure/Application support For Internal Applicants: Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applying.
