• Manage a team of developers and QA aligned to application and various projects under the platform.
• Troubleshoot incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure appropriate remediation
• Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes. Identify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectives
• Design and implement auto scaling, self-healing and resiliency patterns
• Design and implement fully automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solution for continuous integration and delivery.
• Develop and implement migration to public cloud AWS or GCP.
• Coach and lead teams by sharing in the collective team vision and successfully promoting the why and how to all teams
• Manage multiple projects , track timelines , manage risks and effectively report progress.
• Coach development teams and keep them up to date by using new languages, tools & models.
• Remain hands on developing software. Drive development of proof of concept & prototypes for new technologies & products.
• Recruit and retain top engineers & developers who ve had FinTech work experience for projects within DBS.
• Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers on solution
• Strong functional, technical and analytical skills with ability to communicate and bridge between business, operations & IT teams.
Required Skills: (Indicate nature and extent of work experience including minimum number of years required.)
• The Lead should have 14 -18 years of IT experience and have handled agile team of 10-12 team members.
• As a lead should expertise in solution, design and Built end to end solutions based on Open Source technologies, APIs/Microservices in the Cloud (any of PCF, AWS and GCP) environment.
• Must have Strong technical expertise in coding in Java 8
• Must have Strong experience in developing Microservicess using Java Spring Boot along with security and Microservices Architecture in a Cloud environment (with Pivotal/AWS)
• Must have Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs using OAuth 2.0
• Must be able to provide solution, design and develop applications in Microservices Architecture and design patterns
• Must have Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks
• Experience with Maven/Gradle, GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence
• Experience with Java Distributed caching frameworks like Redis
• Experience with ELK stack, Grafana
• Strong knowledge on SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Kafka is preferred
• Good to have knowledge on Data technologies and implementation experience on Data related use cases
• Good knowledge on AWS/ GCP etc
• Design and implement Devops tools, adopt agile methodology, deliver effectively, efficiently, on-time, in-specification and in a cost-effective manner.
• Hands on APIs and micro services design and development experience. Hands on experience in Design patterns, and principles.
• Hands on experience in Devops tools like Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Fortify, etc. release automation tools, blue/green deployment.
• Good understanding of Networking and Security.
• Scrum/Agile leadership/adoption experience.
• Exposure in working Onshore offshore model is a plus.
• Exposure in Digital transformation Journey will be added advantage.
