Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:The selected candidate will be part of Performance Marketing, Analytics Center of Excellence rolling up to Synchrony, India.As an Assistant Vice President, you will have the opportunity to work on major business initiatives that contribute to SYF s growth and productivity objectives. In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing multiple Power Curve assignments supporting the Performance Marketing function & will work directly with the business, IT and COPS teams in catering to the end-to-end implementation needs.Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage Power Curve implementations and validation for Marketing campaigns.
  • Responsible to manage the oversight of the Powercurve marketing platform and rule engines.
  • Assist in development and execution (coding, testing and implementing Power curve) of Marketing campaigns
  • Manage projects to ensure successful implementation of Power Curve tool for fulfilling marketing campaigns and processes
  • Represent COPS team for all projects related to the Power Curve.
  • Support COPS team in response to internal and external audit requests.
  • Support Retail Cards, PS and CC initiatives.
  • Complete audits of Power curve implementations for the campaigns.
  • Work on several different projects simultaneously, of varying complexity and length. Establishing priorities and coordinating work
  • Appropriate management of time and resources
  • Proactively manage efforts to maintain stakeholder satisfaction, and quantify project benefits delivered
  • Develop and support Best-in-class analytic solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership in various initiatives/projects and share best practices
  • Influence Senior Management on new tools/solutions/ideas built by the team
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research or relevant experience
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Campaign operation managements, marketing or appropriate field in a credit card
  • Minimum 5 years of strong technical abilities and hands on experience SAS Marketing Automation, SAS Enterprise Guide, Experian Power Curve (Strategy Manager) or (other decision management tools such as IBM Operational Decision Manager, FICO Blazer, Defense Edge etc) and Tableau
  • 5 years experience using SAS, SQL, R & Unica, direct marketing campaign management tools and on Power Curve tool.
  • 4 year experience managing a team to accomplish a set of goals
  • Database marketing experience within financial services focusing on client lifecycle/acquisition management
  • Demonstrated project management experience with extreme attention to detail, report accuracy, data integrity, and team focus.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with a wide range of end users.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage project details while balancing multiple priorities.

Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong Knowledge of Experian Power Curve (Strategy Manager) or any other equivalent strategy management application (such as IBM Operational Decision Manager, FICO Blazer, Defense Edge etc)
  • Experience with Customer Data Platform[s], utilizing the data collection, mapping and targeting capabilities
  • Strong familiarity &/or experience with Digital Audience Management leveraging 1st through 3rd party data to facilitate programmatic, social and other digital media marketing activities.
  • Advance SAS/SQL/R, UNICA, SAS Marketing Automation, SAS Enterprise Guide capability/proficiency, Tableau.
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies
