Job Description

We want to be the most intelligent bank in the world by leveraging AI and Data Science for building hyper personalization solutions for our customers. Roles & Responsibilities:
    • This is an Individual Contributor role where the right candidate would be testing Big Data Applications including Streaming Data Applications, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Dashboards, APIs and Reports.
    • An expert in one of the Big Data SQL Engine: Hive QL or Spark SQL or Superset or Presto and should have good knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka & NoSQL, APIs.
    • Able to work with large volume of structured and semi-structured data with changing schema.
    • Verify that the data is accurately being represented in the business intelligence system or any other target UI post Data Ingestion and Computation processes.
    • Performance Testing 1. Data Loading and Throughput: a. Measure the rate at which data is consumed from different sources into the system. Measure the rate at which the data is created in the data store. In case of streaming applications, measure the time taken to process a certain number of messages.
    • Data Processing Speed: a. Measure the speed with the data is processed using distributed computing process.
    • Sub-System Performance: a. Measure the performance of various individual components which are part of the overall application. It may be beneficial to test components in isolation to identify bottlenecks in the application. This can include testing of distributed compute process, performance of queries etc.
    Required Skills:
    • Minimum 4+ years of experience in testing Big Data Applications which includes their test automation.
    • Proficient in the design and development of Test Automation frameworks using Python or Java and have stronghold on data structures
    • Hands on experience with ETL testing and able to devise optimal test strategies for Data Validation techniques and processes in different ETL phases.
    • Good to have some basic understanding of Data Science and Visualization technologies and have some experience working on a cloud environment.
    • Work with the development teams and with the business users to understand the data. Research the problem domain before coming up with a strategy.
    • Need to be innovate in order to come up with techniques and utilities that will provide adequate test coverage while maintaining high test productivity.
