Job Description

An Architect, is responsible for program level architecture objectives and aligns with enterprise architecture strategy, technology and platform choices. This role works with development teams and product management to align the system architecture to meet the business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Works across business and technology to create strategies; Designs the architectural vision for solutions.
  • Selects the technology stack needed for a solution to solve business problems.
  • Consults the business and technology teams to clearly understand the business benefits of the technology solution and to clearly understand how to build the proper application; Removes technical architectural impediments.
  • Educates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies and best practices to create innovative solutions. Performs design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements for a product (e.g. security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability).
  • Utilizes the defined best practices, templates and documentation to create architectural designs; Suggests improvements to best practices and templates through practical knowledge.
  • Ensures that architecture designs align with the architecture roadmaps established.
  • Educates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies and best practices to create innovative solutions.
  • Works with product ownermanager to plan and prioritize technology focused backlog items for the architecture runway.

Requirements

    Education : Graduation Post graduation - B.E. B Tech M.E.M Tech MCA M.Sc. (Computer Science, IT, SW, Mathematics, Electronics, Physics, Statistics)

    Certifications If Any : None

    Experience Range

    • Minimum 15+ years of experience in software industry with 5+ years as an architect in data systems with experience of at least one implementation of large scale enterprise wide.
    • Experience with reporting and analytics with exposure to Data Science use cases.
    • Involved with Big Data, Machine Learning and Visualization projects
    • Have strong development background with 5+ years of development experience in Java or related technology.
