Learn and get expertise through InternshipsBBSA Bladelogic Server Automation Internships Modules CompuCom Server Automation Specialist To grow our Cloud Services practice, CompuCom is actively seeking an experienced, technically well versed individual to lead and partner with other consultants in developing a program that helps our clients adopt server automation and automated provisioning processes. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing solutions that establish server automation services, primarily based on BMC BladeLogic Server Automation (BBSA).Further responsibilities are implementing and contributing to CompuComs best practices and standards, as well as supporting development of a training program to enable CompuComs technical associates to obtain relevant technical skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Setup and lead server automation projects. Develop and maintain detailed project documentation; continually develop and improve intellectual property and support materials and contribute back to the practice. Interface directly with end - users, management, vendors, and other IT staff on solution creation. Work closely with other analysts in the organization to leverage skill sets and deliverables.Provide end user training as needed. Collaborate with other departments and groups throughout the organization to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely fashion. Install, configure and maintain BBSA infrastructure (physical / virtual). Create BladeLogic Packages and jobs to deploy software and other content and / or effect server configuration changesCreate compliance rules and jobs to audit server configurations as well as remediate servers that are non - compliant Perform patch management across the environment Produce reports for audit results, e.g. server compliance reportsESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE: 5+ data center operations with hands - on experience in system administrator role 3+ years of BMC BladeLogic Server Automation Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper - V, Xen) and cloud deployment erver patching (both Windows and Linux/Unix) Server compliance, change and configuration management Cross platform system administration (Unix and Windows) Scripting/programming (e.g. UNIX shell, Perl, Python). Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time( negotiable)DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE: Practical experience with automation and operating standards BMC CLM suite of products (BBNA, BBSA, Remedy, BAO, etc.) Understanding of project lifecycle Database Administration (e.g. Oracle, SQL) Established IT and Data Center Operations methodology experience,
