Job Description

  • Works in an agile team to build out applications and data engineering pipelines for bringing in and transforming data for AML or EDD needs.
  • Extensive experience in Financial Investigation/ compliance domain.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business/ product and deliver vertical slices of technology buildouts.
  • Understand, influence and implement data governance applied data and application architecture towards performant and effective solutions.
  • Ability to analyze and improve the performance stability of our system.
  • 8-10 years of experience preferred.

Requirement

  • University degree in the field of Computer Science or related.
  • Solid hands on expertise in core and enterprise java. Ability to drive directions to the team.
  • Solid expertise in messaging frameworks and technologies like JMS, MQ , MQSI , KAFKA
  • Good Understanding of machine learning model management and integration of machine learning with data lake ecosystems.
  • Experience in building out data lake and analytics ecosystem in a public cloud preferred.
  • Hands on strong scala coding experience in terms of functional programming, parallel processing, integration with big data technologies.
  • Expert in Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Mapreduce, Hive
  • In depth database knowledge - sql and noSQL
  • Expert in data ingestion frameworks such as streamsets, apache nifi or inhouse.
  • Experience in search and graph analytics stacks like elasticSearch , neo4J preferred
  • Experience in analytics IDEs like CDSW or Jupyter notebook preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in python programming.
  • Knowledge of Finance, Anti Money Laundering and associated compliance.
