Job Description

As the Branch In-Charge at Shankara Buildpro Ltd., you will play a crucial role in overseeing overall branch operations, driving sales growth, ensuring operational efficiency, managing team performance, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining profitability and compliance standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- Oversee complete branch operations including Sales, Inventory, Logistics & Administration- Drive sales targets to achieve revenue & margin goals- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, dealers, contractors, and OEM partners- Monitor stock levels, ensure optimum inventory turnover, and reduce dead stock- Ensure timely procurement and coordination with the warehouse/logistics- Lead, train, and manage branch team members- Maintain financial discipline, billing accuracy, and cost control- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements- Prepare and present branch performance reports to the Director**Key Skills & Competencies:**- Strong leadership and team management skills- Sales-driven mindset with business acumen- Experience in building materials/steel/OEM industry preferred- Inventory and supply chain management knowledge- Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems- Ability to analyze sales data and improve branch performance**Qualifications:**- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory)Shankara Buildpro Ltd., with a 54-year legacy, is Indias largest distributor and retailer of steel pipes and tubes.
