Job Description

What is the Business Analyst in Global Portf and Corp Svcs group responsible for The Business Analyst plays a key role in Facilitate execution of missions and vision of the Corporation. Understands, meets and adapts to Business Units needs. Assist with various reporting requirements including Monthly Operating and Performance reports, DRG Dashboard, FRI report and Fund Profitability activities. Work is performed in partnership with other GPaCS team members and various business partners.What are the ongoing responsibilities of Business Analyst Duties / Responsibilities:

List in descending order of importance.
Use clear and concise language, including active verbs; closely related duties should be grouped together in one responsibility statement.
Define acronyms, if they are to be used .

Management Reporting:

Performs financial reporting, analysis and budgeting and related activities for all the Investment Management groups.
Develop and use tools to provide management reporting.
Gather and scrub Personnel, Expenses, Performance Data, Benchmark, AUM and Revenue etc. to include in monthly reporting.
Distribute management reports to business users in a timely manner.
Supporting the quarterly presentations for IM groups and supporting groups.
Work closely with the team and business partners to resolve any issues and ensure to continuous follow-up for the source files, so that the SLA s are not impacted on delivery of the MO&P reports.
Work with management to develop policy, workflow and technology best practices, identify issues and develop creative solutions.

Other Reporting:LAM Reporting

Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports using FACTSET, Bloomberg and internal source files.

Life Settlements

Updating the Illustration and Pricing the policies based on Life Expectancy of the insured and Illustration of the policy.

Fund Profitability

Reviewing the Profitability box of the each PM group with the Master Methodology sheet to identify any differences and cause for the variance and make the necessary changes.
Preparing the metrics for Shared services departments expense allocation.
Updating the database with Monthly inputs of Key Metrics.
Verifying the expense allocation by preparing the paper models using the Key Metrics.

Other Activities

Perform any other adhoc request or any other duties as requested by Supervisor.
Updating the workflows according to the current process and update the changes on-going basis.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful Education And Experience:

Bachelor s / Master s degree in accounting, finance or related field
1 - 3 years
Mutual Fund Industry and Management Reporting
MS Office (Advance skills in Excel with macros, Access Database and MS Power Pont), Bloomberg, Factset and Morningstar applications
Requesting this team member work the hours of 8:30PM - 5:30AM (US Time)
Good in analytical skills, ability to research, resolve simple and complex issues quickly and accurately.
