Business Application SupportBPO / ITES Contractor Resource Request Desired Role & Level: Standard Role / Level: Business Application Support Project Scope and Brief Description: Support seed production sites in the use of software applications that are used in seed field management. Software systems are in- house developed proprietary applications used to manage seed production during the planning, growing, harvest and grower compensation cycles. (i.e. Connex, Encirca) Responsibilities: Support plant staff in the use of these seed field management applications. Respond to questions, incidents and issues that come up. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues related to system functionality and data discrepancies. Work with other support and software development staff to resolve issues. Log and track incidents in our service management system. Skills / Experience: Education and experience: Two or more years assisting users in a support environment is desired. A minimum of a two year degree in an IT related field is desired. Experience in agriculture is a plus. Competencies: The successful candidate will have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service and follow- up, an aptitude for problem identification/ resolution, attention to detail and the ability to maintain strong technical skills and business knowledge in a changing environment. The successful candidate willneed a commitment to learn Our Clients Pioneers proprietary seed field management process. This includes seed field planning, planting, growing, harvest and grower compensation. Excellent verbal/ email communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams are needed. Detail oriented/ strong organizational skills are important attributes.
