Job Description

Role: Business Partner Sales Analytics Role Band: IndigoReporting To: Lead Sales Analytics, GG India Location: Ameerpet, HyderabadKey Responsibilities:

  • Sales Force Sizing and Deployment:
  • Run data modelling scenarios to evaluate sales force sizing and deployment for all GG India sales forces across therapy areas. Assist in annual budgeting process for taking decisions on divisionalization, brand transfers and manpower requirements.
  • Analyse data for periodic deployment and territory alignment analyses to maintain balanced territories.
  • Customer Analytics:
  • Perform doctor segmentation and targeting and scale up Closed-Loop Marketing initiative.
  • Other Analytical Work
  • Develop statistical models that relate marketing and sales activities to results and generate decision enabling insights. Perform ad-hoc analytics to assist Incentive Compensation, distribution (Quanta), and promotional response.
  • Collaborate with various business units, marketing teams and support teams to implement solutions.
  • Work with vendors on special SFE/SFA projects and ensure timely execution.
  • Design analytical tools, standard reports, dashboards in applications such as Excel/VBA, Tableau, R.
Operating Network:Internal: Vertical/division heads, marketing heads and product managers, sales force managers and medical representatives, cross functional teams such as HR, Finance, and Strategy.External: Consulting companies and vendors on project basis. Educational & Experience:
  • Engineering graduate from top tier college/MBA with 2-3 years work experience in analytics
  • Good analytical & problem solving skills
  • Good hands-on experience in Excel writing formulas, linking workbooks, macros & VBA
  • Pharma domain knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge of standard analytics tools necessary
