Job Description

  • Ability to perform consultancy studies on Traction Power Systems and develop solutions to meet the technical requirements for 25kV & 2x25kV AC Traction and 750V & 1500V DC Traction;
  • Design and proof checking of Various High & medium Voltage Substation type (220kV, 132kV, 66kV / 33/27.5, 33/0.415kV);
  • Prepare reports, technical specifications, tender assessment reports and other deliverables;
  • Coordinate with team members and professionals from other disciplines to execute projects;
  • Develop proposals, specifically helping to write bid documentation and working up technical briefs into winning bids in line with client requirements;
  • Prospect for new clients, generate new partnerships with local community partners, and contractors organizations where relationships do not already existing and turning this into increased business.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging our network. Set up Sales and Technical meetings between client and company s practice leaders.
  • Provide technical advice for the design of railway electrification systems for International and Domestic projects. Provide assistance in expanding the business in the domestic market for upcoming projects.
  • Design experience of AC and DC Traction system and complete understanding of Railway and metro systems.
  • Design and review experience of High voltage and medium voltage substations of Railway industry for
  • 220KV/132kV/66KV/33kV/25kV.
  • Knowledge of the EMC/EMI activities and system studies;
  • Knowledge of Load Flow studies and performing the load flow through software;
  • Knowledge of Railway and Metro Systems
  • Team building abilities and internal/external networking skills
  • Ability to coordinate across disciplines and business lines for integrated delivery and growth.

  • 12 years+ of experience in design of railway electrification & power supply system for large Metro/Railway projects.
  • Experience in business development with Private and government client to secure new projects.
