Job Description

Short Description

  • You are the expert on testing in CICD;
  • You initiate and support improvements in CICD based on internal and external developments and trends.
  • You advise delivery (scrum) teams in how to implement CICD and help them implement improvements.
  • You are responsible for the roll-out of (new) CICD tooling (f.i. XL Release, XL Deploy, Ansible, Test tooling) and advise teams in how to use the tools.
  • You organize activities to increase and improve the CICD community: e.g. by setting up superuser groups, giving presentations, organizing workshops, etc;
  • You are a stakeholder (on behalf of users of CICD Tooling) for the CICD scrum teams and are closely involved in further development of CICD pipelines.
  • You deliver clear requirements (and acceptance criteria) for changes / new features of CICD tooling and perform acceptance tests.
  • You are familiar with CICD, DevOps and Agile.

  • Effectively apply the tool stack (tool specific coaching).
  • Mentor and coach to practice Continuous Delivery for their applications (way of working).
  • Identify and coach emergent CICD warriors within the team to grow towards L2 or even L3 (train the trainers).
  • Identify impediments to the CICD adoption and work with the CICD program to solve / mitigate these.
  • Align between onshore and offshore programs
