Job Description

What you ll be doing

  • A person who is constantly learning and taking self-initiative to identify gaps in processes, user experience and provide simplified solutions that can enhance user productivity and experience.
  • The person should be aligned with the business priorities and deliver the needs of the end users.
  • Administration of virtual desktop infrastructure environments with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp and Citrix XenServer.
  • Windows 10 OS Administration.
  • Virtual Desktop Provisioning and Deprovisioning.
  • Desktop Software Provisioning and Deprovisioning.
  • Citrix Infrastructure Upgrades.
  • Citrix vDisk Management.
  • App Masking using FSLogix.
  • Incident Management and Request Management within the defined SLAs.
  • Maintaining OS compliance and Software Compliance.
  • Resolution of security vulnerabilities and maintaining security compliance.
  • Automation of system administration related activities using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, github, PowerShell, Python or any other scripting technologies.
  • Deploying and maintaining EC2 instances in AWS Infrastructure.
  • Maintaining Knowledge base articles to improve self-help.
  • Reduction of incidents through proactive resolution of issues.
  • Ready to work in 24X7 support.

What we re looking for

You ll need to have:

  • Bachelor s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • One or more years of experience in Endpoint and Virtual Computing.
  • Experience in deploying, maintaining and upgrading Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp and XenServer environment.
  • Experience in supporting at least two Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp environments.
  • Experience in administering Windows 10 OS, Windows Server OS and Application Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in Automation using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, github, PowerShell, Python or any other scripting technologies.

Even better if you have:

  • Masters degree.
  • Four or more years of experience in Endpoint and Virtual Computing.
  • Ability to understand the business priorities and come up with initiatives that can improve productivity of the business.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks assigned and gets delivered on time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be adaptive to dynamic challenges.
  • Citrix / Microsoft / ITIL Certifications.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Services (AWS preferred) and DevSecOps.
  • Knowledge in SQL DB.
