Job Description

JOP DESCRIPTIONPOSITION: CIVIL ENGINEERABOUT THE COMPANY : Zen Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. Established in 2006 , has made a name for itself in the list of top suppliers in India.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Understanding various structures and architectural drawings and taking off quantities.
  • Preparing item-wise specifications, BOQS, rate analysis and estimates.
  • Meeting with vendor, getting quotes and doing rate analysis as per CPWD, APSOR,TSSOR,MES.
  • Preparation of general and special conditions of contract, technical specifications.
  • Coordination with electrical HVAC, PHE departments in civil point of view.
  • Checking of measurements taken by vendors/contractors for bill certification as per the issued drawings.
  • Preparation of time to time update of specification of data banks by collecting catalogues and technical specification from concerned vendors.
  • Preparing of comparative statements, financial and technical evaluation reports and interaction with all vendors and rate negotiations and hence awarding the job.
  • Reconciliation of materials.
  • Certification of extra item rate analysis.
  • Certification of price escalation.
REQUIREMENTS :
  • Proven working experience in civil engineering (5-15 years).
  • Should be expert in Tendering and quantity surveying.
  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • License of professional engineer.
  • E/ME in Civil Engineering.
