Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS) Job Description Engineer the Cloud platform capabilities in an agile way leveraging DevOps approach. Design, implement and maintain Cloud requirements for development / testing & prod cloud environment. Design, implement and maintain Cloud requirements for development / testing cloud environment Work in close collaboration with Architecture and Operations to integrate new solutions Ensure timely and cost- effective delivery of solutions required for new projects Ensure a high integration of Cloud components Help to drive architectural improvements and standardization for the Cloud environments Develop and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment Ensure controls are in place for all configuration items and only authorized changes are made for all assets within enterprise IT environment Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Engineering service scope Contribute to Public Cloud Strategy Transform requirements for new capabilities or changes from architecture, operations or customers to include them in the design of Cloud Foundational, Service and Customer components Maintain backlog and support prioritization for implementation of components Document as requested by quality and qualification plan Maintain the product/ service backlog Member of sprint team and support Sprint planning Create Cloud Service guidelines and standards including coding languages, coding style with commenting, change and version control model, version documentation, security considerations, and program change release management. Technical programming to meet requirements provided by program Technical infrastructure design, testing, deployment including required documentation and change control Ensure operational supportability of design, development and engineering by working with operational support team in design and development such that the solution is operationally supportable technically and is properly documented operationally. i.e. DevOps model Minimum requirements Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. ITIL Framework & certification (minimum ITIL foundation) Agile / Scrum certification Good written, presentation and verbal communication skills Languages: Fluent in English (written & spoken), additional languages a plus AWS: 4+ years experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security. Experience with DevOps Orchestration/ Configuration/ Continuous Integration Management technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet. Management of continuous integration servers and pipelines like Jenkins, Ansible, . Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS or OpenStack. Experience with Linux required; experience with Windows Server a plus. Knowledge on hybrid public cloud design concepts Strong practical Linux and Win systems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment.
