In this role, he/she will be expected to possess advance skills in key technologies articulated below. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment.Experience and Knowledge Minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience 5 years prior experience with Cognos Report Studio, Framework Manager, and related Cognos toolsets 5 years professional development experience in SQL 2008,2012 or 2014. Experience in advanced BI solutions such as Dashboards, Visualization and Active Reports Experience with Dynamic Cubes/DMR is preferred High proficiency in understanding relational data models Experience in database query optimization Strong Knowledge of SQL Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance is preferredRequired Soft Skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong drive to execute and deliver Ability to cultivate a strong team environment Clear communication and comprehension skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to manage and effectively resolve conflict.Job Responsibilities Participate in the analysis, design, test and technical implementation for Cognos reports and Cognos Framework Manager Models related work. Create new and maintain existing Cognos reports Create new and maintain existing Cognos Framework Manager Models to utilize the data sources available and satisfy the requests of the users Work with data warehouse team to enhance data mart models that support the Cognos Framework models Provide expertise in FM Models that promote the use of self-service reporting Ensure accuracy and integrity of data through analysis and unit testing Responsible for the development and maintenance of SDLC artifacts related to data integration implementation Provide on-going production support and maintenance for Corporate Reporting. Provide resolution of support and maintenance tickets per established SLAs. Provide resolution of support tickets. Adhere to Data Development Lifecycle (DDLC) practices for documentation and change management procedures.
