Job Description

Manages the Applications Development sub function. Typically provides second level management to a group of professionals. The role has short term operational/ tactical responsibilities. Focus is on policy and strategy implementation and control rather than development. May have involvement in regional projects, but as a team member rather than project leader.Your future duties and responsibilities: Should be able to work in Agile Sprint methodology. Should be able to quickly understand and analyze requirements in Sprint Planning. Capable of understanding the business requirements. Strong experience in handling stakeholders. Able to prepare project planning Project Monitoring and control Scope Management Project Status Reporting Able to resolve people problems and manage conflicts Strong experience in working with distributed teams Identifies resource requirements and allocates work based on resource strengths, timelines and utilization. Sets high performance standards and continuously raises the bar to maximize the potential for performance. Negotiates with stakeholders for time and resources (financial & non financial) to enable achievement of results. Identifies opportunities for change by proactively questioning the status quo and spotting cues which necessitate change. Understands key customer needs through regular interactions in various forums (social & professional) . Uses such customer understanding to customize solutions and translate the same to tailored specifications. Establishes appropriate customer service metrics, monitors them, and drives corrective actions. Analyzes and constantly improves systems, processes, and nature of service provided by one s own team. Strives for a balance between customer needs and organization cause by educating customers on feasibility of requestRequired qualifications to be successful in this role: Primary Skill: Selenium, QTP, ALM, Renorex, Jmeter, Webload, Loadrunner, Eggplant , Cucumber, jbehave, FitnesseExperiences: Overall relevant industry experience of 10 14 years including significant years in IT/ IS Products and Services. Specific Software experience of at least 10 years which should include direct and hands on exposure, leading, managing and guiding teams in testing Software Products and Software Services. This will include alternative Testing methodologies, Testing strategy creation, Test Plan, Test bed and test cases preparations and test automation of all these functions.Good exposure to and knowledge of Design, coding/ testing, Test Management, Configuration management, sizing, database management. Experienced in Testing automation tools (Selenium, QTP, ALM, Renorex, Jmeter, Webload, Loadrunner, Eggplant , Cucumber, jbehave, Fitnesse) , Test Automation Frameworks, Performance Testing , Security testing, Mobile testing, ETL testing, Database optimisation. Acquired functionality related knowledge in BFSI domain. Should have worked in Agile projects and strong in Agile concepts. Knowledge of ATDD/ TDD/ BDD. Knowledge of XML/ SOAP/ REST, webservices testing, virtualization. Knowledge of CI/ CD process. Familiar with Jenkins, Rally and SONAR. Defining and implementing the agile ways of working within QAAwareness to CMMi and other process requirements. Strong people management skills and communication skills. A very high standard in personal deportation and oral and written communications an absolute must. Ability to work under sharp time deadlines, ability to think on feet and discipline to work within the processes of a global organisation are necessary requirements. Other skills Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to multi task.
