Who You Are

This position will be located in the Marketing Department of a US IT services firm in Hyderabad, India, but you will be working closely with the team in the United States through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and through our software. It is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are a fast-paced company that is expanding rapidly and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work collaboratively in order to accomplish GeekTeks goals. We pride ourselves on providing superior service to our clients, which includes having attention to detail, following the processes in place, and being able to adapt to a variety of situations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Should have 3-5 years exp in Marketing technical content writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills American English
  • Excellent US English writing and grammar skills can write and proofread content
  • Research and create intriguing and friendly content for our website and social media to increase brand awareness and provide technical information.
  • Able to write print promotional materials, technical content, online web content, press releases, copy to assist advertising and marketing efforts, etc.
  • Work as part of multiple teams to research, develop, edit, format and review content.
  • Work collaboratively in a Digital Marketing role to devise and execute a content marketing strategy.
  • Support marketing sales team in creating new business presentations, proposals and marketing material for use by sales personnel
  • Responsible for developing content in coordination with marketing team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • In-depth knowledge of technology is a must.
  • Writing editing technical, web contents articles, proofreading, copy-editing, white papers, blogs, and case studies.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Writing content for promotional services.
  • Use your creativity to write social media posts, Copywrite, taglines, slogans
  • Ability to write concise, attention-grabbing copy.
  • Ability to write statements of work, operating procedures, and other technical documents preferred
  • Knowledge of SEO preferred, to maximize blog postings.
