Release Manager for OPT Business to Plan, Execute the quarterly Coordinated Release and Monthly Releases across the business towers of OPT in collaboration with other CCB releases. Responsible for the aggregation and evolving changes to the scope of each inflight Coordinated Release (CR), CCB CR Warranty Releases and the evolving Monthly releases. Manage the key release test deliverables and schedule for all deliverables working in close collaboration with the CR Command Center.Acts as primary point-of-contact for Line of Business release teams for all process areas pertaining to managing scope of a CR/MT and corresponding key deliverables.Manages Scope Lock process for each CR/MR and communicates and influences the outcome.Builds and maintains resource plan for each CR/MR, based on participating teams (LOBs, Apps, supporting groups)Coordinate with multiple teams and projects to determine the critical path of tasks within a release deployment (risks, dependencies, issue resolution, etc.).Manage the Go Live Change Restriction process for each CR/MR.Create detailed release deployment implementation plans for various types of release events.Lead deployment release events: tracking tasks, providing status reports to the management team/stakeholders.Conduct peer reviews of deployment implementation plans.Conduct Release Readiness reviews and Go/No-Go Reviews.Create change records to document all production events.Work during the weekends for leading & driving the release events.Support CR Release deployments. Includes, managing Command Center shifts and other responsibilities required for creating a successful Command Center environmentSupport special requests and projects impacting the CR, Warranty or test cycles, as directedMinimum of 3 years of experience with IT Change Management proven track record of leading complex releases with dependencies.Minimum of 10 years overall IT experience with diverse skills.Good communication and negotiation skills and ability to collaborate across LOB teams, multiple job families and job levels.Organized, ability to manage multiple in-flight responsibilities effectively. Ability to manage a high volume of detailed work. Good problem solving skills.Advanced knowledge of Excel or other tools to manage complex data sets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) a plus; SharePoint knowledge, including list maintenance; PPL; Clarity, ITSM or similar Change Management tools.,
