Job Description

We are looking for formatters for our copyediting team. Formatting for copyediting involves applying a style guide shared by the target journal.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Format various elements of the journal articles as per the given style guidelines.
  • If a particular style point is unclear or contradictory guidelines are present, point this out to the author.
  • Understand client and industry requirements and adapt working approach accordingly.
  • Meet deadlines.
  • Receive training to become adept at the points mentioned above.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
  • A Bachelor s/Master s degree in any sub-specialization of Medicine or Life sciences.
  • Prior experience in journal manuscript copyediting (Non-mandate).
  • Familiarity with AMA style (Non-mandate).
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
