Standard Data Feeds gives content partners access to FactSet s integration , concordance , and feed distribution technologies , creating a powerful platform for the redistribution of new and unique data feeds. Clients get access to the third party and Factset data via feeds as well as through a new Data Exploration environment that lets them easily and quickly put the data to use. CTS is seeking an engineer to join the team and help support , enhance , and expand the Standard Data Feeds infrastructure , and help implement tools for editing and operational support. The engineer will work closely with other data feed engineers and product developers in designing and implementing technical enhancements as well as integrating a variety of third party and Factset - sourced feeds. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Building and maintaining platforms responsible for the delivery or access of FactSet content to our clients , both internal and external Setting goals and mentoring the development of ongoing projects , by providing guidance and direction to the team on software design and implementation Coordination with existing teams Provide technical support of existing infrastructure JOB REQUIREMENTS Software Engineer ||| or above. Experience with scripting languages (Python , perl) Relational database experience , preferably with MSSQL Good understanding of general database design and architecture principles A realistic , pragmatic approach. Can deliver functional prototypes that can be enhanced & optimized in later phases Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with front - end development (e.g. vue.js or similar) a plus ETL experience a plus Cloud (AWS , Azure) experience a plus,
