Job Description

Responsible for gathering requirements and performing data analyses for large volume real time data streaming applications and pipelines used for telemetry on several million devices across Liberty Global footprint.problemsEssential Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of BA experience with proven experience on Data Analysis.
  • Working on and keeping track of multiple tasks from numerous stakeholders in short sprints (1 week)
  • Ability to challenge requirements, negotiating alternative solutions and timelines
  • Able to understanding the general principles of Big Data
  • Ability to navigate in Data Lake of semi-structured JSON logs
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Elasticsearch.
  • Knowledge of Apache Spark capabilities.
Essential education and Soft skills:
  • MSc degree level ( or relevant experience ) on engineering, computer science (or related studies);
  • Fluent spoken and written English;
  • Hands on engineering tasks like coding, system configuration and integration;
  • Experience with Open Source components on a production environment.
  • Hands on experience with Linux
