JobDescription : S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Data AssociateThe Location: Ahmedabad / HyderabadGrade: 9AThe Team: The Documents team is in the Market Intelligence division at S&P Global and is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and comprehensive data and documents that are acquired through a variety of automated data collection tools. The Impact: As a Data Associate, you will be leading and contributing to strategic document sourcing initiatives in a collaborative environment. You will regularly communicate with key stakeholders and be passionate on staying abreast of cutting- edge technology to help define and execute on technical solutions. Responsibilities: Propose, design, and execute technical solutions that improve opportunities for scalable, sustainable, and lean methodologies for data acquisition. Proactively hunt, discover, and evaluate new data and document sources while managing sources in central repository. Identifies new content acquisition tools and methodologies to improving existing turnaround time. Monitor and analyze multiple markets/ industries to aid in the management and expansion of sources. Work with Data Stewards and Operations Leadership to set and/ or approve policies around sourcing. Engage with Content Automation and other internal teams to enable them to derive maximum value from documents. Contribute and lead projects as part of our Integration programs Assist in resolving technical issues by collaborating with multiple scrum teams. Assist in audits on department data sets in order to reduce errors. What We re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: 5 years of work experience in a financial market data environment. Experience working on technical projects including writing user stories, leading UAT. Proven results in designing and implementing LEAN and automation solutions. Keen sense of urgency and focus on client delivery. Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet critical deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with strong ability to influence both technology and business partners. Knowledge/ Experience in web scraping tools including Python. Advanced SQL skills BS or MS degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Systems Science, or Information Technology.
