Job Description

Requirements:

  • Good background working on large scale Data Warehousing and Data processing solutions, specifically Experience with Data Warehouse design, ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load), architecting efficient software designs for DW platform.
  • Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS handling are a must with a Solid knowledge of any one of the industry-leading RDBMS like Microsoft SQL Server / MySQL etc.
  • Proficiency in NoSQL databases like MongoDB, MarkLogic or Google Cloud Firestore
  • Deep understanding of technical and functional designs for Databases, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Data Mining areas.
  • Good knowledge of data management principles like Data Architecture, Data Governance, Very Large Database Design (VLDB) and Distributed Database Design.
  • Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer Certification is a must.
  • Proficiency in Cloud based ETL / Data Orchestration tools like Apache Beam, Apache Airflow
  • Proficiency in Data Processing Frameworks like Apache Spark / Databricks
  • Experience in Python or Scala programming.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to interact directly with customers and business users to understand business requirements, and the ability to translate such understanding into technical solutions.
  • Looking to have an impact and produce high-quality work; willing to work flexible, but reasonable, hours.
  • Eager to quickly learn new concepts, languages, tools and technologies as required
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences
