Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in business application development or IT development with 5 years leading teams.
  • Experience with programming in Java, C++, Python, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), SQL.
  • Experience in multiple full system implementation lifecycles (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leading design and implementation of efficient large-scale data solutions through the full project lifecycle maintaining highest levels of development practices.
  • Experience with effective data management in area of MDM, data warehousing, data visualization or analytics.
  • Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: data platforms, MDM solutions, data integration, data visualization/reporting tools, and advanced analytics solutions involving machine learning and statistical analytics.
  • Effective analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Drive our vision of cohesive solutions for multiple projects across a diverse spectrum of Google s internal needs including enterprise data security, data discovery, data visualization, etc., as well as data warehousing, and master data APIs/micro-services leveraged by Google employees around the world.
  • Interface with a diverse set of engineering and business teams across Finance, Legal, Cloud, HR, etc. to pave the way for enterprise-class solutions to help power Google s corporate applications.
  • Innovate across Production (e.g., Colossus, Stubby, F1, etc.), Third-party Corporation (e.g., SAP, SaaS, etc.), and Cloud (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud ML, etc.).
