Job Description

    We are looking for a passionate and talented SRE to focus on building a robust and reliable continuous delivery platform. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that provides exposure to managing infrastructure and applications across data centers and cloud services including design and implementation of new approaches and tools for continuous delivery.Responsibilities Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration. Proficiency with the architecture, deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of open-source data analytics and data governance technologies. Monitoring production systems for performance regressions or failures and reacting to them to maximize uptime and quality of service. Identify and proactively tackle issues that impact developer productivity, such as intermittent failures or performance bottlenecks. Handle Production backlog with the business team and prioritize fixes in planned releases.. Lead Production Support team to ensure all servers and applications are monitored on an ongoing basis with alerts including CPU, memory, and storage utilization, as well as network and security issues, and performance tuning. Drive the team to build, and implement application automated health checks ensuring the high availability of applications.Requirements Min 5 years of AWS Infra SRE/Operation experience on S3 IAM, KMS, EMR, EKS, and MSK services. Experience in Infrastructure automation as code in AWS using Terraform (preferred) or Cloud Formation. Knowledge of Kubernetes internals and components. Knowledge & experience in Snowflake, and SQL database support like MySQL or Oracle. Experience operating production applications at scale, including detailed performance testing, HA and disaster recovery concepts, capacity planning, and managing distributed systems on internal and public cloud infrastructure principally Kubernetes. Proficiency in authoring and releasing code in Go, Python, Java, or Scala using common programming configuration management and software delivery platforms. Understanding of the Linux Operating System, containers and virtualization, standard networking protocols, and components. Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills using the scientific method. Understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, VPC, NAT, DNS, Gateways, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting, and Load Balancing is a plus.
