S&P Global Corporate The Role : Data Architect The Location : Hyderabad, Gurgaon, or Ahmedabad The Team : This group within Data Architecture is focused on evaluating, integrating and on boarding data in accordance with established best practices and strategies. Grade : 9A The Impact : This position will play a key role in accelerating S&P Global s data ingestion capabilities and brining new data sets to market. What s in it for you : You will have the opportunity to interact with many different groups and stakeholders across the enterprise, and will be a part of S&P Global s top priority projects and initiatives in DOaaS and DTI. Responsibilities : Focused on the contextual and conceptual aspects of data architecture. Implement strategies for data implementation, acquisition and maintenance. Evaluate new data sources for adherence to S&P Globals quality standards and ease of integration. Works with Content, Product & Technology to turn business requirements into actionable specifications. Contributes to processes encompassing data transformation, testing, troubleshooting, and end- user support needs. Facilitate and/ or execute any related activities and mitigate risk. What we re looking for : 3 to 5 years of experience working in an internal- focused team/ role at S&P Global Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal. Highly organized individual that is capable of multitasking and prioritizing. Solid knowledge and understanding of S&P Global s internal process and systems; data best practices; and the DMS. Critical thinker who can quickly understand and objectively evaluate new data and new data sources. Understanding of the business and what is and isn t important to internal and external users. Detail oriented and not afraid to ask questions. Knowledge of a variety of database design concepts and practices. Comfortable working in environments with a high degree of ambiguity and making recommendations and educated judgements.
