Job Description

    Role/Responsibilities This role will be a key contributor to the design and implementation of back end and front-end solutions primarily working on existing C#.NET projects relating to analytical ratings processes that have high visibility within the analyst teams globally. In addition to that, there will be many opportunities to leverage SQL skills to query and manipulate data at scale, as well as work with Python. She/he will ensure overall execution of enterprise grade application. She/he will be responsible for developing, deploying, operating, and monitoring containerized applications on container platforms in clouds a, supporting a wide variety of technologies across Moodys Investor Services. Job Knowledge and Responsibilities:
    • Designing and developing financial software applications primarily using C# and .net.
    • Working knowledge of integration patterns and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Good SQL Query writing skills, understanding of SQL Databases (Microsoft SQL) and No SQL database (MongoDB).
    • Demonstrate robust debugging skills and enforcing strict standards for code quality on python (or similar) libraries.
    • Ability to work in agile environments with a global setting.
    • Proficiency in python and java for serverless architecture in AWS (Lambda).
    • Conducting daily scrums with development team.
    • Conducting code reviews, design reviews, architecture reviews.
    • Documenting the design and code as per the PDLC standards.
    • Display the highest level of personal integrity, initiative and teaming abilities
    • Development of microservices and API development is a key.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelors in Engineering/Computer science
    • 8+ year of total software development experience.
    • 8+ years Hands-on experience in design, development, testing and operational support of C#, .net Core, ASP.net/ Angular based applications
    • Experience with APIs, Microservices and design patterns.
    • Agile Scrum experience., while displaying familiarity/experience with other SDLC approaches.
    • SQL and NoSQL database knowledge (SQL Server and MongoDB).
    • Experience with Angular js or React/Redux.
    • Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code.
    • Knowledge of build/dependency management tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo
    • Experience in application containerization, familiar with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Platform9, ECS, EKS, Openshift, Cloud Foundry
    • Experience in AWS (API Gateway, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Aurora, Glue, DynamoDB, EKS, Docker)
