PROCESS BRIEF FactSet has an opportunity for a NoSQL Database Engineer that will add value to our team in Hyderabad, India. We are seeking for a person who is passionate about Database engineering and interested in working with cutting edge technology.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage NoSQL databases in Development/Staging/Production environments which are used by FactSet.
  • Work with Linux Team to maintain stability and performance of Linux- based and underlying infrastructure.
  • Should have knowledge of Cluster typology.
  • Assist in Quarterly Patching and Maintenance.
  • Assist with monitoring and on- call.
  • Perform Automation with help of Python and Ansible.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 4- 6 Years of experience in Scripting.
  • Knowledge in NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to communicate well with other administrators and end users.
  • Builds positive working relationships across departments and with own team members.
  • Proactive initiative with good problem- solving skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical problems involving hardware, operating systems, and applications.

HIGHLY DESIRED

  • Scripting/Programming experience in Python is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in database technologies, such as Elasticsearch, Swiftstack, Hadoop Ecosystem, Memcached and Redis is a major plus.
  • Should have working experience in tools like Ansible, Terraform or other Infrastructure tools.
  • Technical understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure.
