Position: DBA (SQL SERVER) Experience: 3 to 8 yrs No of Positions: 3 Qualification: Any Degree Skills: 1. Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools 2. Working knowledge of physical database design, dB and OS Performance tuning, and recovery scenarios, security management 3. At least should work on two migration & two implementation projects 4. Should have experience in both Oracle Database and SQL Server Database. 5. Should be proficient in installing the databases in several Operating Systems 6. Should have experience in database scripting and should be able to help developers to fine- tune queries 7. Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle 8. A sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning 9. sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators 10. Experience in Structured programming, preferably Oracle PL/ SQL 11. Very Strong in Oracle 10G, 11G DBA Activities 12. Should have handled the environments like dataguard, rac and streams 13. Very strong understanding of the data model (Tables, Indexes Etc., ). Analyze what indexes are wrong or right on the table. Analyze the query plans etc. 14. Installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrading of all SQL Server Instances 15. Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the SQL Servers / databases across multiple environment/ applications 16. Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc. 17. Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) 18. Capable of multi- tasking 19. Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives 20. Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills,
