ResponsibilitiesTo provide high quality day to day support for the ISB s Business Analytics course and carry out smooth and effective operation. Providing teaching assistance to the course faculty. (60%)Carry out research and analytic work under the guidance and supervision of the Research Fellow , Senior Analyst , ISB and affiliated faculty , and other senior staff of the Institute. (40%)We seek applications from motivated individuals with a strong academic background , and who would like to either pursue higher education in the long run or move to industry in analytics domain with rigorous exposure to statistics , advanced analytical tools and solution - oriented skills.Key Responsibilities:Assist faculty in the course preparation , content development , evaluations , grading , other course logistics and maintaining faculty office hours.Deliver tutorials (online / offline) and address students queries.Identify potential projects in research / analytics and execute from proposal to delivery.Carry out specific tasks and functions as requested in ongoing projects and studies. This may include background research , literature survey , data collection , analysis and preparing reports.Develop white papers , concept notes , and articles in the data science.Work under the guidance and supervision of ISB faculty / staff members as requested.Carry out all activities responsibly , on time and with high quality outputs , responding closely to supervisory inputs.Skills and QualificationsQualificationBachelors or Masters in Engineering , Computer Science , Statistics , Mathematics , or equivalent.Work experience:Two years of work experience.Knowledge and experience in analytics is preferred.SkillsProficiency in programming languages such as Python / Java etc. and traditional databases such as MySQL , Oracle etc. is must.Must have good analytical and problem - solving skills.Ability to effectively carry our research activities and maintain high quality and integrity of work process and results.Strong communication skills and ability to present concepts and data effectively through offline and online modes of communication.Ability to work well in a dynamic setting with multiple projects / tasks and competing demand.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Versatility , flexibility , and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.Familiarity with statistical packages such as R , STATA and SAS is an advantage.,
