Degree or Master s Degree in GIS, Geography, Surveying, or related field is requiredYou will be responsible for maintaining, planning and managing programs to meet product delivery, quality, and cost goals on consulting engagements. As a Manager you will be reviewing user or technical requirements, identifying tasks, and assigning and coordinating resources and create or track project schedules. You develop and maintains the long- term GIS vision and strategies through implementation and execution of projects and ensures support of the overall organizational goals. Supervising a team including programmers, operators, cartographers, data managers, analysts and support specialists. Managing budgets and project costs.Technical Competencies: Should have Excellent Managerial Skills- Plan, supervise and managing day to day production work for successful completion. As a part of daily activity, it is essential to plan the work break down structure, guide and support team for technical aspect on day to day basis. Team Handling experience minimum (30- 50 Team Size) Should have good Sounding knowledge in GIS platform Work experience in Utility Projects / Land base projects/ Center point Energy Projects Technical skills: ArcGIS, ESRI, AutoCAD MicroStation MS office Should have good knowledge in complete Life cycle of project management on GIS platform. Very good team and client management skills. Should Have good documentation, team management and change management skills Seasoned GIS Professional with power utility GIS experience preferably on ArcGIS/ AutoCAD and related platforms Excellent Communication skills. Develops and maintains the GIS Strategic Plan Determines and manages budgetary requirements and provides long- range planning for overall agency GIS. Prepares, maintains and monitors the GIS budget. Software Skills: Good Experience with Arc info Small World AutoCAD ArcFME preferable Excellent MS- Excel Skills Education & Experience: Degree or Master s Degree in GIS, Geography, Surveying, or related field is required Minimum of five (10) years GIS experience. Minimum of two (8) years supervisory experience preferably with a non- profit, non- governmental organization (NGO), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Significant and advanced GIS experience may substitute for the Master s degree. Experience in the use of ArcGIS desktop, ArcGIS Online, enterprise geodatabases, and open source GIS software. Experience with project management, including planning, statements of work, budgets and scheduling. In- depth knowledge of GIS, databases, GIS principles, practices and techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build effective teams, motivate others, delegate effectively, and make timely/ quality decisions. Oversees all functions of the GIS department, including technical development and project management. ,
