Through its imprint brand TalentLens, Pearson delivers assessment & learning solutions to corporates helping them manage talent better. Our objective at TalentLens is to help organizations make scientific and objective people decisions leading to significant business impact. This role involves manging Chennai as a market and being responsible for sales & strategy goals for the region.Purpose: To be responsible for meeting strategy goals for West through sales of Assessment & Consulting services.Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:1. To meet overall revenue targets2. To meet revenue targets for specified products lines.3. To manage a channel of consultants for delivery of consulting services.4. To constantly ideate and conceptualise creative solutions to address key client issues.5. To collaborate and work closely with the marketing team to position Pearson TalentLens as a thought leader in the marketAdditional Responsibilities:To be in touch with various stakeholders across Pearson TalentLens internationally to identify opportunities and solutions that can be replicated in IndiaTo keep track of market information around competitors & to be constantly aware of the emerging trends in L&D & recruitment.Key Challenges:Should have an entrepreneurial mind-set but still work within the policy frameworks defined by Pearson. Candidate Profile:CompetenciesCore Technical/Technical Competencies:Essential: Experience in Concept Selling or Enterprise Sales Desired: HR Consulting BackgroundEducation, Qualifications & TrainingEssential: PGDBM/A, MBA in HR/Marketing preferableDesirable: Degree from Premier institutesPrevious ExperienceEssential:4 to 5 years in HR assessment/training/consulting salesDesirable: 6 to 8 years in HR assessment/training/consulting salesCore Behavioural Competencies:Essential: Decision Making, Creativity, Planning & Organizing, Assertiveness, Customer Service, Sociable, Good Negotiation skills, *Background Information:Pearson Clinical & Talent Assessment (PCTA) is the assessment & intervention arm of Pearson.
