Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Expertise on Routing of wiring harness in 3D vehicle environment Good knowledge of Sheet metal & plastic brackets/channel design Good understanding of electrical circuits Knowledge of EV Systems and Design will be added advantage Fair knowledge on Electric Vehicle level EMI/EMC requirement for wiring harness layout Handling CAD for Electrical equipment database for Device, Connector, Cable part number, etc. Installation of brackets and supports on structural environment according to agreed Interface points Knowledge of various sleeves and protection according to industry best practices Checking for clash and clearance for the secondary brackets and other in the mockup Bill of material and Engineering change note generation Should be able to support on vehicle build and prototypes New Concept Development, Upgrade existing concepts. Participate in peer-reviews and follow the review cycles to ensure the Right First time Knowledge on Validating routing of harness as per requirements, electrification of parts, releasing 3D data in team center, etc. Responsible for creating documents like Mech Interface, DFMEA, DMU analysis, etc. Target driven, Good analytical skills Understanding of design practices and national/international standards.Experience3 Yrs to 5 YrsIndustry PreferredAutomotive (EV will be added advantage)QualificationsB.E / B. Tech Electrical and Electronics engineering; MS/MTech is added advantageGeneral Requirements Good knowledge on ECAD Wiring Harness routing in Catia V5 Expertise on Creation of 3D Part Models, Electrification of connectors, supports and channels, maintenance of Electrical Library Hands on in creating installation and fitment drawing Good communication, negotiation skills Good knowledge on conducting DFMEA, DFA, DFM preparation, Get DMU analysis done as per interaction Matrix etc. Preparing BOM, spec, conduction of peer-peer reviews Participate in VA / VE exercise & analysis for solution Knowledge on harness component selection such as retainers, cable sizing & protection, grommets etc Should work independently with expected output following project schedule ECAD Software: CATIA V5, TC Visulaization PLM Software: TeamCenter Process: DFA/S, DFMEA, DFM, 8DJob Segment: Engineer, Electrical, CAD, Drafting, Engineering, Automotive ,
