Job Description

We are looking for individuals that have the ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and will be able to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally. Candidates should hold or be expected to achieve a degree classification of 2.1 or above at M Eng level in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and have achieved Grade B or above in both Maths and Physics A-Levels (or equivalent)

  • Alignpipes and secure its foundation and connection to the other pipes.
  • Set up pipes and transporting drills and service rigs on the lower deck or under land surface.
  • Operate and maintain drilling rigdieselmotors, transmissions, pumps and drilling mud systems, and mix mudchemicals,cementsand additives
  • Read gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and concentration and adjust pumping procedure as required.
  • Calculatethe dense and volumes of oil and mud
  • Recording mud density and volumes.
  • Supervise laborers
    • Watch out for fire hazards in the workplace while work is performed by other employees.
    • Maintain the conditions and requirements stated on the safety permit.
    • Keep flammable materials from ignition sources.
    • In the event of fire, extinguish it immediately or turn a fire alarm on.
    • Call 911 or the emergency alarm number.
    • Stop operations if you find any hazardous condition.
