Provide business specific desk-side support services to users. Builds strong relationships with customers to provide support and understand their support requirements. Installs and configures application software, both off-the-shelf and developed in-house. Uses logic and analysis to work through and solve problems with users. Troubleshoots performance problems and maintains security configurations. Tracks and resolves user issues. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to work closely with users. Duties:Continuously collaborate with internal teams, instrument vendors, and business clients to ensure solutions are implemented with minimal down time. Update Ticket Queue to reflect work completedKnowledge/Skills:Proven customer service experience (5 years experience in system / software support services a plus)Pharmaceutical experience working in a laboratory environment a plusStrong understating of Windows XP, SMS, Network Associates Active Client Suite (McAfee)Strong understating of Bench-top Computer Systems, RS232, IEEE, and TCPIP network trouble shooting skills. An understanding of LPR/TCPIP printing across various printing types a plus. Proven ability to work across legacy hardware platforms such as HP, Dell, Compaq, and IBM PCsIn-house Pfizer applications (troubleshooting),
