Job Description

    We are looking to hire Desktop support engineer for a US based organization named Startek . Mentioned Below are the required details -Role - Desktop Support EngineerLocation - HyderabadSalary - Upto 3 LacsShift - RotationalJoining Time - ImmediateKey Responsibilities -
    • Responds to client inquiries.
    • Provides technical support to users.
    • Troubleshoots hardware and software issues.
    • Assists with installation of computer software and operating system updates.
    • Prior experience in desktop support or related field
    • In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware and software systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Exceptional time-management and multitasking abilities
    • Providing phone, email, remote, and in-person support to troubleshoot various technical problems.
    • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, peripherals, and networking equipment
    • Resolving issues with internet connectivity, printers, scanners, phones, and other equipment
    • Performing troubleshooting to diagnose system failures and identifying root causes.
    • Managing technology inventory
    • Escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams if unable to resolve them independently.
    • Documenting technical issues and solutions in a ticketing system
    • Formatting, partitioning, and imaging hard drives.
    • Upgrading or replacing hardware components like memory, network cards, video cards
    • Installing operating systems, software drivers and applications
    • Setting up new devices, printers, scanners, etc.
    • Configuring system settings, security tools, VPN access etc.
    • Performing preventative maintenance activities
    • Tracking computers, devices, peripherals, components.
