Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Dev-SecOps Engineer with a strong background in C# development to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, automation, deployment, and security practices across our cloud infrastructure, applications, and services. You will work in close collaboration with software engineers, operations teams, and security experts to ensure that the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) is seamless, secure, and optimized for continuous delivery and deployment. This role requires a combination of cloud infrastructure expertise, development skills, and a deep understanding of Dev-SecOps practices to help drive automation, scalability, and security into our workflows. Key Responsibilities: Own the design and development of advanced automation workflows to streamline the deployment, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure in Azure. Ensure the alignment of the development, staging, and production environments with security and performance best practices. Architect and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines that automate the end-to-end flow from code commit to production, enhancing deployment speed, consistency, and reliability. Champion the integration of security testing and vulnerability scanning within the CI/CD pipeline to enforce security standards across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Collaborate with development teams to optimize pipelines for performance and integration with C# applications, enabling rapid and secure delivery of software. Lead the implementation of security policies and compliance standards across Azure, driving the organization toward security best practices (e.g., Zero Trust, encryption, identity & access management). Conduct comprehensive security audits, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the security of applications and cloud infrastructure. Guide teams in managing cloud cost optimization alongside security and operational reliability, ensuring a balance between scalability, performance, and budget. Contribute to the development of C# applications by driving design and coding standards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and secure code. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate Azure services and cloud-native solutions into C# applications efficiently. Ensuring that development practices adhere to Dev-SecOps principles and best practices for both security and performance. DSV internal Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Around 6 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role. Technical Skills: Azure Cloud Platforms: Expertise in managing and deploying applications on Azure (Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Lens). DevSecOps & CI/CD Tools: Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.), version control systems (Git), and pipeline automation tools. Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Yamal, or ARM templates. Release Management: Creating and managing release pipelines. Deploying artifacts to multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod). C# Development: Strong experience with C# programming for backend and application development, ensuring that code is both efficient and maintainable. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Azure Bicep for infrastructure provisioning and management. Containerization & Orchestration: Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based application deployments on Azure. Security & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (OWASP, CIS) and the implementation of security policies across the SDLC.
