Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design and drive the implementation of terminologies/ontologies in relevant areas e.g. biomedical (medicine, diseases, cell biology, genomics and proteomics, drug action, anatomy, assay design and results [non-exhaustive list]), commercial, production, real-world data collections, pre-clinical research. to be used for controlled vocabulary annotation or curation, lexical extraction and other lexicographic engineering or text mining processes Define and operate the management of external sources (ontologies, taxonomies, schemas.) and map them together in our internal semantic model Cleansing and aligning (mapping) heterogeneous internal data sources based on template process and artifact (e.g. Excel templates). Improving the process and the artifacts is also part of the role. Design, provide expert advice to technical team and drive the implementation of linked-data solutions Manage complex internal projects that requires knowledge elicitation, aggregation, collection of feedback and adoption by the organization.Minimum requirements Bachelor s degree preferably in Computer Sciences or other engineering disciplines (Master s degree preferred) Fluency in English is prerequisite, while knowledge of other in-scope country languages would be an advantage Experience in MDM and Semantic technologies, Ontologies and FAIR data or similar data management principles /technologies (5-10 years)Why consider Novartis 799 million.
