Job Description

As a Principal Architect, you ll be responsible for providing guidance on the architecture, design, development, and support of applications at Verizon. You ll collaborate with and influence stakeholders in the U.S. and India. Other responsibilities associated with the position include:

  • Providing architecture and design of automated data delivery solutions of medium-to-larged size projects inbound and outbound as part of a Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Leading development techniques for all Salesforce teams throughout Verizon, spanning across different lines of Business (i.e., B2B, Consumer, Global Enterprise, VzConnect).
  • Leading multiple medium-to-large scale projects and guiding staff members and peers.
  • Participating in Agile projects and organizational groups (i.e., story grooming, backlog grooming, and leading stand-up calls to ensure delivery of releasable functionality by the end of each iteration).
  • Identifying and architecting solutions and tools to be used within the Agile framework.
  • Leading peers and management through planning and implementation of critical projects across all lines of business.
  • Identifying and resolving reported system issues including application, data, mobile, hardware, and network issues.

What we re looking for.

You ll need to have:

  • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and related framework.
  • Knowledge of Force.com Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, APEX Classes, and Salesforce Admin activities.
  • Experience with multiple recent Salesforce projects.
  • Experience with APEX Classes, Aura UI Framework, Lightning, Triggers, Workflows, Validations, Visual Force pages including HTML, JavaScript.
  • Experience in full lifecycle implementation for large enterprises.
  • Knowledge of SDLC practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Safe Agile).
  • Knowledge of the technology industry and market trends to determine potential impact on architecture.
