Job Description

  • Take responsibility for the overall standards and direction of architecture in the business/technical domain.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective elaboration, validation, and communication of the Domain Architecture of a given Architecture Domain.
  • Ensure the right IT investments are made from an architecture perspective in the respective domain.
  • Design, implement and keep technology stack of relevant products for development, test and production use
  • Responsible for all test phases unit, system, integration and functional testing and acceptance
  • Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented
  • Ensure accurate provisioning and metering of services
  • Ensure creation of detailed solution/service design matching high level designs and functional specifications to meet quality and performance requirements
  • Ensure quality, cost and timelines of feature and product implementations are delivered by product engineering team
  • Help to drive architectural improvements across the product stack
  • Responsible for creating reusable and automation frameworks that can be leveraged across the Service
  • Track and Manage incidents, where applicable including:
  • Identify, log, categorize, prioritize, resolve incidents and raise a problem if required
  • Ensure that incidents are followed up and solved appropriately
  • Oversee problem management and drive identification of root causes as well as sufficient prevention of recurrences
  • Ensure adherence to documented operational procedures to maintain system integrity
  • Ensure appropriate operational service documentation is created and accepted by stakeholders
  • Identify potential improvement areas for the owned system or application and connected services
  • Perform/Automate patch, release and image management activities
  • Maintain and ensure all application data is consistent across the various repositories
  • Engineer monitoring processes and event response to ensure performance and service related KPIs are met.
  • Ensure Quality Transition of release deliverables to Operation.
  • Coordinate all configuration management database changes which directly or indirectly impact production services
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Product Engineering service scope.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelors or master is Tech, preferably computer science, Electrical or Electronics
  • 15 years of experience in Domain Architecture, Specifically related to procurement, finance in a large complex multi location environment.
  • Should have experience working in a highly matrix environment.
  • Experience with Ariba, SAP, S4, Hana would be a certain requirement.
  • Architecture experience to span multiple systems and new digital technologies is a mandatory requirement
